The essence of life
Exploration, discovery, transition & celebration
The photographs I've most loved taking have a sense of timelessness and simplicity. They're about something universal to all of us.
I want to bring this forward when I capture moments: beginnings, endings and the somewhere-in-betweens that are strung together by joy and hardship. I'm part of something collaborative, or in the background, capturing a moment as it unfolds naturally. I like to see and show people and places as they are.
I also enjoy shooting interiors, architecture and in particular nature, which is fundamental to me.
About me:
I grew up barefoot in Namibia and South Africa and have since lived in Arctic Norway and now Denmark. I'm grateful to share a home with my husband and our daughter.
I started my career as a medical doctor, working mainly in Emergency Medicine for 11 years. I enjoy continuously learning and challenging myself in new ways, and I have also worked as a photographer and mountain guide.
My passions are wild nature, creativity and sharing the wild experience of life.
